Pan-European Salesforce partner Nextview Consulting has expanded into the UK & Ireland market through the acquisition of Sabio’s Salesforce practice.

The deal sees Sabio’s Salesforce consulting and delivery practice, which has around 35 professionals, join Nextview Consulting and become the founding team of the firm’s UK & Ireland business.

Founded in 2009, Nextview Consulting is a Salesforce consulting partner with around 220 employees active across seven European countries. The addition of the new team lifts its headcount to over 250 staff (combined they hold 1,100 Salesforce certifications) and its revenues to over €30 million.

Commenting on the deal, Huub Waterval, Founder and President of Nextview Consulting, said: “In the last two years, we have expanded our footprint into Sweden, Germany, and Central Eastern Europe. Acquiring Sabio’s Salesforce practice accelerates our growth and establishes our presence in the important UK & Ireland market.”

Leading the new UK & Ireland venture is Will Lamb, a veteran in the Salesforce landscape. He previously played a key role in driving the growth of VRP Consulting in Europe, serving as Managing Director for the UK & Ireland for several years and more recently as Chief Revenue Officer for the US-headquartered Salesforce consultancy.

Lamb departed VRP Consulting early this year to focus on his next step, and said that he is now delighted to be back in the Salesforce ecosystem. “While not yet widely known in the UK & Ireland, Nextview Consulting is one of the largest pureplay Salesforce partners in Europe. We guide businesses through transformation on the Salesforce platform with a design-led approach.”

“We quickly aim to establish Nextview Consulting as a trusted Salesforce partner in the region, and we’re already getting incredible feedback about the acquisition of Sabio’s Salesforce practice.”

A deal and partnership

For Sabio meanwhile, the deal sees it divest a chunk of the makepositive business it acquired a few years ago. The global digital CX transformation company bought makepositive in March 2021, in a move that added 180 employees to its ranks, across offices in London, Manchester and a development centre in India.

Andy Roberts, Chief Executive Officer of Sabio Group, said that the divestment is part of the company’s strategy to focus on its core business, which revolves mainly around contact centre services and CX technology solutions.

As part of the transfer of the business, Sabio and Nextview Consulting have entered a preferred partnership to jointly deliver services in Salesforce domains such as Service Cloud Voice, Contact Centre, Data Cloud, and Cloud.

“Sabio remains dedicated to strengthening its relationship with Salesforce across the UK and Europe. This move will provide joint customers with access to Nextview’s extensive expertise in Salesforce consulting, while Sabio will intensify its investment in delivering expert services for clients in the global contact centre and customer experience ecosystem,” said Roberts.
