International consultancy firm Eraneos launches its presence in the UK
Eraneos has expanded into the United Kingdom, which becomes the firm’s sixth market in Europe and eighth worldwide.
Formed a few years ago through the merger of consultancies from Switzerland, Germany and the Netherlands, with further acquisitions closed since, Eraneos today has 1,100 consultants working from offices in 8 countries. The firm provides a wide range of management consulting and digital transformation services to clients across three continents.
The firm’s new office in the UK will initially focus on cybersecurity consulting services, with Julian Meyrick – a renowned leader in the field – brought on board to lead the venture. “I am delighted to join the excellent Cybersecurity team of Eraneos and to be building the UK practice.”
In his role, Meyrick will seek to establish Eraneos among the leading cybersecurity consultancies in the market, and build synergies between the UK market and other markets Eraneos serves.
“As cyber risks grow in scale and complexity, it’s essential for business leaders to assess, reduce and manage cyber security as a business risk. I’m excited to build on Eraneos’ global expertise and help our UK clients navigate the complex cyber landscape by developing their cyber resilience,” he said.
Meyrick previously spent 18 years at IBM, most recently leading the company’s Security Strategy Risk & Compliance practice worldwide. Before that, he led the Integrated Security business in Europe. “We are delighted that Julian will be strengthening our leading cyber security community and pushing forward with efforts to improve our position in the UK cyber market,” said Carlo Gebhardt, Partner and Global Cyber Security Lead at Eraneos.
Alongside Meyrick, Eraneos has also hired a number of other senior and junior cybersecurity consultants to kickstart the UK venture.
