Delta Capita acquires financial services consultancy Aurora
Professional services firm Delta Capita has announced a deal to purchase specialist consultancy Aurora. The acquired firm further strengthens Delta Capita’s client lifecycle management capabilities.
Joe Channer, CEO and founder at Delta Capita, noted, “We are thrilled to welcome Aurora to Delta Capita. Their extensive experience in the CLM space will play a crucial role in driving our consulting business’s growth. The team joining us will allow Delta Capita to offer CLM advisory capabilities to our clients and allow us to successfully deliver global best-in-class, market-leading solutions for all our clients.”
Aurora is a financial services specialist advisory, with a particular focus on client lifecycle management (CLM). Founded in 2017, the London-headquartered company aids clients with organisation design, process optimisation and technology implementation. Its clients include financial institutions and regulatory technology vendors, for which it provides technology-agnostic, independent advisory services.
The move is the latest in a line of developments for Delta Capita, which is investing in its advisory capability for complex CLM advisory, configuration and systems integration. Earlier in 2024, this also saw Delta Capita acquire Client On-Boarding – an end-to-end CLM management solution that helps banks and financial services institutions with running their Know Your Customer compliance processes.
Looking ahead, the latest deal will see Aurora’s CEO Sean Vickers become a partner, and global head of CLM advisory at Delta Capita. Based in London, Vickers brings more than 20 years of experience in the capital markets sector, and has successfully led and grown global teams across various wholesale banking functions. He will be joined by Chief Operating Officer Jiwan Laly, and Chief Technology Officer Matthew Benham, who also become partners at Delta Capita.
The wider Aurora team will now join Delta Capita’s London office – in a new CLM advisory function, sitting within the firm’s consulting business. The professionals will report to Sarah Carver, in her capacity as the firm’s head of global consulting.
Carver added, “We are very excited to welcome Sean and the wider Aurora team to Delta Capita’s global consulting business. This acquisition is part of our continuing investment to grow our global specialist advisory and transformation consulting capabilities to ensure we can assist our clients in areas where there is complexity, growing regulatory pressure and need for cost effective and innovative solutions, empowered by industry perspective.”
