Aimie Chapple, Managing Director of Accenture's Management Consulting business in the UK & Ireland, has been elected President of the Management Consultancies Association (MCA). The MCA is the branch union for management consultancy firms in the UK. Chapple will in the board be supported by consultants of KPMG, Propaganda and Challenge Consulting.
Chapple joined Accenture in 1992, and she gradually grew to lead the Talent & Organization practice in Consulting. In September 2010 she was appointed Managing Director of Accenture Management Consulting.
Commenting on Aimie Chapple's election, Alan Leaman, CEO of the MCA, said: "Aimie has a superb track record in consultancy and is an exceptional leader of our industry. This is a moment for consulting to be on the front foot so it is a delight to welcome Aimie to this role, where her deep knowledge of the industry and its role will ensure that she is a powerful advocate.”
