Irma Raza joins HKA as Director in London office
Global consulting firm HKA has strengthened its Forensic Accounting and Commercial Damages (FACD) team in London with Irma Raza.
Appointed a Director, Irma Raza is a forensic accountant with over a dozen years of experience in forensic investigations and disputes, specialising in the quantification of damages and loss for the purposes of commercial and transaction-related disputes.
Prior to joining HKA, Raza was a senior manager at PwC. “I am thrilled to join HKA and am excited to bring my forensic expertise in quantifying damages for commercial and transaction disputes to this dynamic team.”
Throughout her career, Raza has assisted lawyers and clients on a wide range of arbitral proceedings (DIAC, ICSID, ICC, LCIA) and the UK High Court, and provided expert witness support for loss-of-profits claims, breach of contract disputes, and transaction-related disputes, including breach of warranty, claims, and earn-out disputes.
Clare Lavin, Partner in the Forensic Accounting & Commercial Damages practice said: “Irma’s appointment is an important reflection of HKA’s direction and commitment to expanding the practice. As an experienced forensic accountant with diverse experience working across a range of industries and regions, including the Middle East, she will add significant value to the team. We are delighted to welcome her to the team.”
Earlier this year, HKA was named one of five market leaders in the UK’s forensic consulting sector, ahead of Raza’s former employer PwC.
Meanwhile, HKA this week also added three new professionals to its Forensic Accounting and Commercial Damages team in the US.
