Marian Cantrell joins HKA’s forensic team in London
HKA has strengthened its team in London with the hire of Marian Cantrell, who joins the firm’s Forensic Accounting & Commercial Damages team.
Appointed a Director, Marian Cantrell specialises in forensic accounting and is adept at advising clients on a wide range of accounting and quantum disputes, including commercial litigation, international arbitration and expert determination.
Her wider forensic experience includes professional negligence, fraud and accounting investigations, monitoring trustee appointments and financial reporting projects. Cantrell has worked on over 60 cases including post-transaction, shareholder, and contractual matters.
She joins HKA from Evelyn Partners, where she spent the past four years working in its Forensic Accounting practice. Before that, she spent over a decade at Haberman Ilett and FTI Consulting. She started her career with PKF in 2007, and having initially specialised in both fraud investigations and disputes, she later on became expert-focused.
“I am delighted to be joining HKA and its growing Forensic Accounting & Commercial Damages team and look forward to working with colleagues on a broad range of opportunities within disputes services,” said Cantrell.
Andrew Flower, Partner in the Forensic Accounting & Commercial Damages practice said: “We are delighted to welcome Marian to our EMEA team. She brings significant experience to the firm and her appointment reflects HKA’s ongoing commitment to expanding the practice with more talented experts as it further strengthens its position as a market leader in this space.”
London-headquartered HKA has over 1,000 experts, consultants and advisors across 45+ offices in 17 countries. The firm’s forensic practice was recently recognised as one of the leading players in the UK market.
