Turner & Townsend buys boutique consultancy On the Mark

In its second deal this month, Turner & Townsend has acquired On the Mark, a boutique consultancy specialised in organisation design and operating model modernisation.

With operations in the US and UK, On the Mark has a 34-year track record of working with private and public sector clients to modernise operating models for national and multinational companies, governments and non-profits.

As part of the deal, On the Mark’s 27-strong team will join Turner & Townsend’s Programme Advisory practice, strengthen its capabilities for major programmes in defence, infrastructure, natural resources and real estate.

Vincent Clancy, Chairman and CEO of Turner & Townsend, said the deal comes in response to increasing demand from clients in the building environment to optimise their operating models.

The acquisition, which comes within weeks of the purchase of Jumbo Consulting Group in Denmark, builds on an existing working relationship between the two companies. Turner & Townsend and On the Mark have previously worked together on major Defence transformation programmes.
