Equantiis appoints Simon Williams as CFO
Business and technology consultancy, Equantiis, has appointed Simon Williams as its new chief financial officer. He will now help strengthen Equantiis’ senior leadership team and guide the business through its next stage of growth.
Established in 2013, Equantiis is a consulting firm which enables public and private sector organisations to successfully transform through technology use. The London-headquartered firm primarily operates within the higher education, membership, not-for-profit and local and regional government sectors – underpinned by a team of experienced business and technology transformation consultants.
Having recently marked 10 successful years in business, Equantiis is looking to expand its expertise – and has welcomed Simon Williams to the business to that end. An experienced financial director, Williams boasts a three-decade year career in finance and project management, where he prides himself in delivering strategic reviews, financial modelling, corporate governance, acquisitions & restructuring and full financial analysis, evaluation and reporting for SMEs.
Alistair Sergeant, founder and CEO of Equantiis, confirmed, “Equantiis has grown from strength to strength in recent years, but in order to really accelerate revenue and achieve our next phase of growth, we require the support of an experienced and strategic CFO as part of our ambitious senior leadership team. Equantiis currently forecasts that its revenue will increase by a further 30% by the close of 2024. In joining the Equantiis senior leadership team as CFO, Williams will now play a pivotal role in building that strong financial foundations to sustain continued and accelerated growth.
Late in 2024, Equantiis also welcomed Mike Lewis to the firm, as a director. Boasting over 30 years of experience in the tech and consultancy sectors, his appointment also marked an important addition to the board and wider senior leadership team of Equantiis.
