North Highland has announced Andy Faulkner, Rachael Pickup and Alex Rattray have been promoted to associate vice president in its UK wing. The move comes amid a wave of 10 executive promotions on either side of the Atlantic.

Speaking on the news, North Highland CEO Alex Bombeck said, “At North Highland, we help clients build the organisational capability and competency required to drive future growth, and these individuals have proven that they can not only do this for our clients but also exceed our own expectations for driving future growth within the firm. Congratulations to each of these stand-out leaders whose contributions have made and continue to make a lasting impression on the firm through their dedication and expertise.”

Founded in 1992, North Highland is a firm specialising in business transformation across the industrial gamut. As a member of Cordence Worldwide, a network of global consultancy firms, North Highland has access to more than 3,500 experts in over 50 offices around the globe.

Trio of associate vice president promotions at North Highland UK

Andy Faulkner joined North Highland in 2018, arriving as an agile and product transformation consultant. He became a principal in 2022, having worked with clients across multiple sectors to help them transition from project to product thinking and become more agile in their delivery of tech solutions. He becomes an associate vice president in project and programme management.

Rachael Pickup joined the firm in 2014, as a manager. She became North Highland’s UK public sector lead in 2021, and has since overseen end-to-end transformation services that meet the immediate and emerging needs of the UK government, including the UK’s response to Covid-19, and the implementation of key legislation and policy changes. She becomes an associate vice president in the firm’s public sector wing.

Alex Rattray finally has been with North Highland since 2015, when he joined as a transformation management consultant. He has since been the firm’s EMEA industry lead for technology, media and entertainment, but will now split his time between London and Riyadh, as he becomes North Highland’s associate vice president leading on its Middle East activities. He will now provide direction and support to the firm’s growth strategy, to ensure that North Highland continues to play a leading role in the region’s transformation journey.

All three appointments are primarily based in London. However, earlier in January 2024, North Highland also announced seven executive promotions in its US wing. In technology and data, Mark Daniel was promoted to the role of vice president, as was Cliff Stephens. Meanwhile, Tom Brim in energy, Gregg Dunning in project management, Nicolle Field in public sector, Amy Turnquist in life sciences, and Andrew Watson in transformation services became associate vice presidents.
