Sheffield Haworth appoints Alex Cormack and Patrick Meehan
Sheffield Haworth, a London-headquartered executive search and human capital consultancy firm, has appointed Alex Cormack as CEO and Patrick Meehan as CFO.
In the newly created role of chief executive officer, Alex Cormack will be responsible for delivering the corporate strategy set by the Board and chairing the six-person Executive Committee.
Cormack brings 20 years of experience in executive search and advisory for a range of clients to the role. He has been with Sheffield Haworth since 2004, working across practices and geographies, and holding a variety of leadership roles.
Patrick Meehan has meanwhile been appointed as the Chief Financial & Operating Officer, expanding his role from Group Finance Director. Meehan will oversee the financial and operational health of the company and drive strategic planning on behalf of the board, reporting directly to Cormack.
Meehan has been with the human capital consulting firm since 2015, joining from GVC Holdings, where he managed the group’s financial reporting function. Prior to this, Meehan spent four years working as consultant with a property recruitment firm in London.
Founded in 1993, Sheffield Haworth has over 200 professionals in 14 global offices throughout Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific regions.
Last year, the firm boosted its talent search capabilities with the acquisition of Symbiosis Search, a firm specialised in leadership roles across the enterprise software and cloud software segments. Sheffield Haworth’s consulting lines of business focus on leadership advisory and change consulting.
Tim Sheffield, Founder and Chair of Sheffield Haworth, expressed his enthusiasm about the two appointments: “The appointments of Alex and Patrick mark an important milestone for Sheffield Haworth. I am confident that under their leadership, we will continue to progress towards the strategic vision and ambitions of the group.”
