Nicola Quincey joins PwC as EMEA AWS alliance leader
Digital services expert Nicola Quincey has joined PwC as a partner. She will lead the firm’s alliance with Amazon Web Services in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Ulrich Störk, PwC’s EMEA alliances and impact centre leader, said, “Nicola brings a wealth of experience to PwC in advancing cloud innovation and technology transformation. In her new role she will unlock the potential of our alliance with AWS, merging our extensive EMEA expertise with their market knowledge. This will help position PwC as the preferred collaborator for clients seeking transformative, innovative, and cloud-focused solutions. We are very excited to have her on board.”
In September 2023, PwC announced a three-year global strategic collaboration agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to accelerate innovation, improve operational efficiency and transform the way business is done. The move enhanced PwC’s strong expertise in using cloud to power business, strengthening its ability to deliver human-led and tech-powered solutions, while allowing the two firms to deliver approximately $800 million in value to clients, according to a joint release.
Helping to realise that potential, Quincey has joined PwC as its new EMEA AWS alliance leader and partner. She brings more than 25 years of experience in the cloud industry to the role, and will work to help clients shape their future cloud and technology transformations across the region.
To do this, Quincey will draw on extensive experience garnered within AWS itself – where she led the technology giant’s EMEA commercial team for strategic accounts. In her role at AWS, she implemented cutting-edge technological solutions for clients, with a strong emphasis on co-innovation and delivering value at scale. Prior to this, she also worked at Microsoft for 10 years, and she co-founded and managed a sales and marketing consultancy.
Commenting on her new challenge, Quincey added, “I am excited to champion the customer obsessed and innovative approach that both AWS and PwC share, providing new and exciting opportunities to benefit our customers.”
