Start-up consulting firm Stephen Alexander has launched its first office space. As the firm continues to push forward with its growth plans, it has opened the doors to a new hub in Worcestershire.

Business development is the process that is used to identify, nurture and acquire new clients and business opportunities to drive growth and profitability. As clients look to find new avenues for expansion, while the UK’s market continues to provide slow growth, consulting firms which can help secure bids for new grants and projects are enjoying growing demand.

Founded in 2022, Stephen Alexander is a consulting firm which helps businesses win new work through practical, hands-on support, and strategic advice. Focusing across their bids, marketing, and business development programmes, the boutique helps businesses achieve growth ambitions, securing new clients and work through competitive bidding, creative marketing and communications, and strategic business development.

Following what the firm called “a promising first 18 months” in business, Stephen Alexander is now pushing ahead with growth ambitions of its own. With the launch of its new space in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, the firm has also announced that it is hiring to meet “significant market demand” for its services.

Co-founder Stephen Timmins commented, "Since we started the business back in July last year, we have seen a very healthy demand for our services, where clients are looking for both hands-on support and strategic guidance across their bid, marketing and business development programmes to support their growth. We are delighted to take this next step in our journey as we look to continue to expand our capacity to help businesses win new work."

Timmins launched the firm alongside fellow founder Alex Footman last year. Looking ahead, the Worcestershire office will have “ample space for expansion” as the firm ramps up capacity.

Footman added, "Despite the challenging economic conditions, we have had an incredibly positive first 18 months in business and are seeing more demand for our services right across the wide range of sectors we operate in. Moving into a new office space will help us to further develop the service we deliver to clients and provide space to support our ongoing recruitment plans."
