PwC UK founds alliance with human capital platform Darwinbox
As the firm looks to grow its human capital management offering, PwC has announced a new alliance with Darwinbox. The platform will boost PwC’s HR technology offering for clients across Europe and the Middle East.
PwC UK Chief Technology Officer for Tax, Legal and People Bivek Sharma commented, “We are thrilled to announce the alliance with Darwinbox. It will transform the way we provide HR technology solutions for clients. Darwinbox provides a generational-leap forward for HR professionals in terms of business automation, analytics, and employee experience. Combining our deep expertise with this cutting-edge technology is an exciting shift in the way that we solve complex problems for our clients.”
Human capital management is a set of practices related to people resource management, focused on the organisational need to provide specific competencies and are implemented in three categories: workforce acquisition, workforce management and workforce optimisation. In a tightening labour market across the UK and Europe, delivering on these fronts is proving a major challenge to businesses of all sizes – leading to heightened demand for human resource consulting services.
PwC UK provides integrated workforce technology solutions to support clients with their HR, workforce and business transformations. By integrating Darwinbox into its services, PwC hopes to offer a greater range of technology-enabled solutions to help clients deliver efficient workforce services, while also saving costs and driving up productivity. As well as enhancing current client services, this will see PwC use Darwinbox’s suite of HR products to provide new offerings across its UK, EU and Middle East offices.
Founded in 2015, Darwinbox is a Singapore listed human capital management platform, with AI capabilities, scalable microservices and advanced HR analytics. It serves over 800 organisations and 2million employees across 116 countries, from large conglomerates to fast-growing technology startups, including Adani, Bank BTPN, Shakey’s, Nivea, NutriAsia, Indorama and more.
As Darwinbox looks to add to its client base significantly through its PwC partnership, co-founder Rohit Chennamaneni said, “We are incredibly excited to partner with PwC UK, a leader in professional services, to deliver our cutting edge HR technology solutions. PwC houses an incredible breadth of strategic knowledge and hands-on experience driving technology transformations. This alliance energises our mission to continue building technology that helps organisations unlock the highest potential of their people and stay ahead of change.”
