PA Consulting appoints Kata Cserep as global aviation lead
Kata Cserep has been installed as the new global head of aviation at PA Consulting. She brings two decades of experience to the role.
David Oliver, the global head of transport at PA Consulting, commented, “I look forward to welcoming Kata to PA to lead and grow our aviation expertise. Kata will play a vital role in driving the fast-paced innovation our clients need to address contemporary challenges in the aviation industry.”
Growing consistently over the last decade, PA’s aviation team works across the industry to create opportunity from the rapidly evolving complexities in the sector today. The practice helps to develop strategies involving new technologies and digital transformation and with achieving organisational goals.
Cserep joins from ICF, where she spent the last 13 years. Most recently, she was the global head of aviation advising public, private and finance sector clients in policy, business strategy, forecasting and sustainability. This saw her work with her team to support clients in solving their most difficult challenges, whether they be strategic, financial, operational or existential. Prior to this, Cserep spent five years as a senior consultant with SH&E.
Looking ahead, Cserep brings credibility as an industry leader having helped shape the global industry standards for airport carbon goals and environmental reporting and labelling standards. She has previously been recognised by Airline Economics Journal as one of the aviation industry’s Top 40 professionals under the age of 40, and will now use her knowhow to build collaborations between teams of experts to contribute to PA's wider transport business.
PA Consulting meanwhile was recently named one of the UK’s leading aviation consulting firms.
Speaking on her new role, Cserep said, “The energy and spirit of innovation are what drew me to PA along with its group of passionate experts who bring the best minds together to solve some truly complex challenges. The next couple of decades will be critical for the evolution and transformation of the aviation industry, towards one that is digital, agile, financially sound, and environmentally sustainable.”
