Mazars appoints two partners in UK

International audit, tax and advisory firm Mazars has hired two partners in its audit and technology wings. Kamilla Racinska joins as a partner in asset management, while Connie Crawford becomes an information technology audit partner.

Founded in Europe, Mazars is present in over 95 countries and territories, with 47,000 professionals helping clients make the most of business opportunities. In the UK, Mazars over 2,500 people in 15 locations, providing expertise to clients of all sizes, from individuals and SMEs to mid-caps and global players.

As a leader in asset management, Kamilla Racinska will support the team’s growth and development within the wider Mazars firm. She will focus on developing Mazars’ assurance proposition, securing additional business opportunities and supporting the delivery of existing client work.

Joining from KPMG, Racinska was formerly an asset management director with the Big Four firm. She has over 10 years’ experience auditing listed and private asset and wealth management companies, fintech companies, investment trusts and mutual funds, as well as providing CASS assurance and delivering CASS advisory engagements.

Meanwhile, Connie Crawford’s arrival as an IT audit partner reflects Mazars’ ongoing commitment to developing its technology offering, as well as reflecting its range of expertise across the firm’s regional offices. Based in Edinburgh, Crawford will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to the IT external audit practice, working closely with our audit and analytics teams to strengthen and embed IT techniques into the audit of financial statements.

Crawford’s 20-year career in financial and professional services also includes a spell in the Big Four, having worked for KPMG as a senior IT audit manager. She spent the last two years with TSB, where she was the firm’s head of technology assurance.
