James Ager joins York Aviation as principal consultant
York Aviation has strengthened its team with James Ager, who has been appointed to the position of Principal Consultant.
A qualified accountant, James Ager brings over 30 years of experience in airline sector to the firm, gained both in consulting as well as in industry. He specialises in topics including financial and commercial topics, airport strategy and management, and transformation.

Headquartered in Macclesfield, York Aviation is a consulting firm of air transport experts providing services around aviation policy advice, economic impact assessment, air traffic forecasting, airport capacity assessment and planning.
Ager brings a proven track record of delivery, having worked for British Airways, covering various financial and commercial roles throughout the UK; and Manchester Airports Group, where he was Head of Strategy for Aviation. Most recently, as an Associate at Steer, Ager advised clients on a broad range of areas including long-term forecasting, pricing, airport economic regulation, strategy, and transaction services.
