Management consultancy Kearney has appointed Didier Roekaerts as a Partner. The senior appointment will bolster the firm’s analytics leadership team.

The global market for artificial intelligence (AI) consulting services was valued at over $93.4 billion in 2022, and is expected to reach $630.6 billion by 2028. The opportunity this presents consulting firms with means that many are increasingly ramping up their AI offerings, in support of service lines including administration, finance and human resources. Kearney’s latest partner appointment aims to help it leverage the new technology in its data analytics team.

Geir Olsen, Head of Europe, commented, “The use of AI is becoming the new normal within Kearney’s consulting portfolio. As a partner in our rapidly growing Kearney analytics team, Didier will help our clients capture the full value of data, analytics and AI.”

Didier Roekaerts began his career at IT consulting giant Accenture, where he worked in the consumer goods practice until 2011. He then spent spells with GlaxoSmithKline – heading up the pharmaceutical firm’s global analytics and innovation division –  before working for SABMiller (now part of ABInbev), helming portfolio strategy in Latin and North America. Joining Kearney as a Partner in its growing analytics practice, Roekaerts will join the leadership team to execute Kearney’s strategy in data, analytics and AI. On joining, his primary focus will be on consumer and growth analytics for B2C clients across Europe.

Roekaerts added, “I’m thrilled to be joining the Kearney analytics team and look forward to using AI to add real value to the companies we work with. Our consumer goods and retail clients need tangible and scalable analytics solutions to stay competitive. I’m excited about the prospect of accompanying executives on their AI transformation journey!”
