UK-based project management and quantity surveying business Henry Riley has been purchased by Australian company TSA Management.

“We are really pleased to be launching TSA Management into the UK and we see great synergies in not only the project landscape but also the objectives, cultures and operations of both Henry Riley and TSA,” said TSA Management CEO, Andrew Wilson.

“We are confident that these synergies and the continued diversification and enhancement of our capabilities, services and geography offer fantastic opportunities for our clients, our business and our people.”

TSA Management acquires project services firm Henry Riley

Established in Sydney in 2001, TSA Management already operates across Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia, with more than 150 clients across 12 sectors and $200 billion worth of projects under management. As a portfolio company of Quadrant Private Equity, however, the firm is now using deal activity to expand its footprint into Europe.

Property construction consultancy Henry Riley has operated in the UK for more than 130 years, and has 190 employees across 9 locations. Offering services including cost consultancy, employer’s agent work, project management services, and health and safety advice, its clients include Bupa, Amazon, Ikea and the NHS, while its property offerings include retail, residential, logistics, healthcare and airports.

By joining forces with Henry Riley, TSA aims to propel its business forward from a new market – with strong links to both mainland Europe, and the US. The move sees TSA expand its employee base from 650 to almost 850, with a global footprint spanning the UK and Asia Pacific. Looking ahead, Wilson added TSA now plans to continue this momentum “through a combination of organic and strategic, purposeful growth.”
