After the merger of Design Bridge and Superunion, the company has rebranded as Design Bridge and Partners. The combined company operates in 12 countries, working with clients to unlock potential for brands, businesses and people alike.

WPP is a British multinational communications, advertising, public relations, technology, and commerce holding company headquartered in London, England. In recent years, WPP has been combining its acquired agencies into single brands. These include AKQA Group, BCW, EssenceMediacom, VMLY&R, Wunderman Thompson and most recently FGS Global – each with the aim of addressing client needs for simpler, more integrated, creative and technology-driven solutions.

Now, WPP has launched another combined brand, in the shape of Design Bridge and Partners. Created following the merger of Design Bridge and branding firm Superunion, announced in 2022, the two complementary companies bring together top talent from across an 850-person strong network, operating in 12 countries.

“As Design Bridge and Partners, we’re on a mission to change that, and simultaneously help shape the future of organisations worldwide by unleashing the full power of design,” said former Design Bridge CEO John Morris. “For us, it’s not just a matter of what design is, but also what design can do, for brands, businesses, people and the planet —and the role design can play in answering the fundamental questions of the world today.”

Morris will now serve as Group CEO of Design Bridge and Partners, while and Jim Prior, who was previously CEO of Superunion, will take on the role of Chair. With hubs in New York, London, São Paulo, Amsterdam, Singapore, Madrid, Berlin and Shanghai, Design Bridge and Partners will have a global opportunity to nurture talent and foster international collaboration.

Design Bridge and Partners will bring together experts in every aspect of brand strategy and design, including graphic, motion, digital, physical and communication design, with a shared creative philosophy of using the power of exceptional design to solve business and societal challenges. Globally, clients already include NASA Artemis, Unilever, Coca-Cola, Microsoft, Diageo, Mastercard, Intel, Mondelez, Tencent, HSBC, Colgate, Reckitt, Fortnum & Mason, and the BBC.

Jim Prior, Chair of Design Bridge and Partners, added, “This is a perfect fusion of creative excellence that will deliver extraordinary results for our clients and our people. It is an exciting opportunity for us to take the lead in delivering the true power of design as a force for positive change in the world.”
