PwC Consulting buys social media consultancy Ants Eye View

PwC Consulting has bought Ant’s Eye View, an American social media consultancy firm. Ant’s Eye View works for dozens Fortune 500 clients, helping them with social media strategy development and online multi-channel commerce. Approximately 35 consultants will join the Big Four advisory firm.

Founded in 2009, Ant’s Eye View is a relative start-up, yet the firm has grown exponentially over the past 3 years. It helps guide clients through the process of transforming customer experience and brand engagement by embedding the customer voice into all aspects of a company’s social business.

PwC on acquisition path

PwC has been very busy past years with expanding her advisory practice by undertaking acquisitions. Earlier this year, the English practice Logan Tod & Co bought an online analytics-advisory firm. By the end of 2011 it bought two advisory firms in Europe, SAP specialist Proxyon (integrated in the IT Advisory branche and supply chain specialist TruEconomy Consulting (integrated in the Operations Advisory branche). And mid 2011 international management consulting firm PRTM was taken over.
