Insurance expert Will Davies joins PA Consulting as Partner
International advisory firm PA Consulting has appointed a new Global Head of Insurance, as it looks to better support clients in the fast-changing market. Will Davies joins as a Partner at the firm, bringing more than two decades of experience with him.

The intense disruption of the Covid-19 pandemic placed unprecedented pressures on the insurance industry, over the last three years. Rising demand for private medical treatment is seeing organisations having to adapt and expand their offerings in new ways, to keep up with the needs of customers. Meanwhile, economic uncertainty has seen investment in some areas of the market fall heading into 2023, making it more difficult to adapt those services.
PA is a global firm of more than 4,000 experts, offering support to clients across sectors including technology, design and financial services. PA’s financial services experts combine deep knowledge of banking, insurance, pensions, payments, private equity, and asset and wealth management with expertise in strategy, technology, and digital innovation. Recent engagements helping clients in the insurance segment to meet with changing demands include delivering new risk and regulatory frameworks such as consumer duty policies for a leading general insurer, and assisting the translation of principle-based regulations into another insurer’s operational resilience approach.
As PA receives more requests for help with transformations in the insurance space, Davies joins as a Partner in its financial services practice. He will now leads the firm’s global insurance business, strengthening PA’s breadth and depth of expertise in the sector to grow its work with insurers.
To do that, he will draw on more than 20 years of experience across the finance services and insurance industry. Most recently, this saw him work for Slalom Consulting – leading its UK financial services business, and working with large, multinational insurers as well as wealth, asset management, retail, and commercial banks. Prior to this, Davies spent spells at Accenture, Deloitte and Capgemini.
