Consumer sector M&A expert James Cass joins AlixPartners
AlixPartners has announced the arrival of James Cass as a Partner and Managing Director in its risk advisory practice. Fellow Managing Director Graeme Smith noted that Cass boasts a “depth of experience advising on deals in several consumer verticals on a national and cross-border basis.”
Based in London, Cass brings 23 years of knowhow to AlixPartners. This includes corporate finance experience, including international M&A advisory, debt and equity capital markets and structured finance transactions.”
Smith added, “We are delighted to welcome James to the firm. As an M&A specialist focusing on the consumer industries sector, he will be closely collaborating with the firm’s M&A, consumer, and private equity specialists.”
Cass’ arrival will further strengthen AlixPartners position in M&A advisory ,by bringing a proven track record of commercial strength and revenue generation and a strong network in the consumer sector. Most recently, Cass was Global Co-Head of the Consumer Corporate Finance sector at Rabobank, where he led the bank’s strategy, and coverage of food and beverage clients. Prior to this, he was the bank’s Global Head of its Beverages Corporate Finance business. He also spent the first 13 years of his career at Deutsche Bank, working in its UK M&A and consumer, healthcare, leisure and real estate corporate finance wing.
