Two directors join Interpath from Deloitte

Interpath Advisory has announced the appointment of two senior hires to its fast-growing business in Ireland. Daryll McKenna and Brendan O’Reilly both become directors in the firm’s restructuring wing.

Having established itself as an independent firm in 2021, Interpath Advisory has established multiple offices. In late 2022, this saw the company launch services in Ireland and Northern Ireland – providing services such as restructuring, advisory forensic and investigation, and CFO advisory services. The firm expects to add to this capacity, with a number of new managing directors in the months ahead – and hopes to expand its team to over 65 professionals by the summer of 2023.

Brendan O’Reilly joins Interpath’s restructuring practice as a Director, helping to realise that push for growth. He brings Big Four knowhow to the firm, arriving from Deloitte, and spent over 11 years on both large corporate and personal insolvency appointments and spanning sectors including real estate, hospitality, retail, financial services, education and health.

During his career, this saw O’Reilly manage a number of high-profile real estate based receivership cases requiring planning and development solutions, as well as acting for a wide range of trading businesses and in excess of 1,000 commercial and residential properties. He has also advised a large number of financial institutions, state agencies and companies on their strategic restructuring options.

Daryll McKenna similarly arrives as a Director in the same oractice. McKenna also joins the firm from Deloitte, bringing more than 13 years of experience providing restructuring advisory and turnaround services.

Recently, this saw McKenna lead a delivery team which provided advisory and enforcement solutions to private equity funds with distressed real estate in Ireland of in excess of €500 million. He has also worked with a wide range of financial institutions and companies, and has exposure across a wide range of industries including retail, hospitality, real estate, health and aviation.
