Belton Flournoy III and Justin Pang promoted by Protiviti
Global consultancy Protiviti has announced 53 senior promotions across its offices. In its London locale, this sees both Belton Flournoy III and Justin Pang elevated to Managing Director.
Founded in 2002, Protiviti is a global consulting firm, providing consulting in internal audit, risk and compliance, technology, business processes, data analytics and finance to clients around the world. It has a headcount of more than 5,700 professionals – and as it looks to reward their commitment, and retain top talent, Protiviti has announced a raft of 900 promotions around the world.
Of those, 53 involve senior positions. The firm has promoted 47 of its directors to the position of managing director and six to the position of senior director. The new managing directors and senior directors span Protiviti's solution groups, including internal audit and financial advisory, risk and compliance, technology consulting, business performance improvement and legal consulting.
Joseph Tarantino, Protiviti President and CEO, remarked, "As part of our commitment to advancing the careers of all our people, we're very pleased to acknowledge a new group of Protiviti leaders, each of whom has already made a significant contribution in their professional field. Through their leadership, demonstration of Protiviti's values and consistent delivery of exceptional client service, these leaders provide unique value to the firm and to our clients."
Justin Pang is one of two Manager Director appointments for Protiviti’s London office. He joined the firm’s internal audit wing in 2006, and specialises in the delivery of financial crimes and risk management projects. With over 20 years of experience in total, gained in Australia and in the UK, Pang currently leads the firm’s EMEA transformation practice, working closely with all the countries within the region.
Pang remarked via his LinkedIn account, “I am happy to share that I’ve been promoted to Managing Director at Protiviti UK! It has been a team effort and would like to thank Matt Taylor, Bernadine Reese and Jonathan Wyatt for the hands-on coaching, support and direction over the past 10 plus years, and many thanks to leaders within the firm that have helped shape my career at Protiviti across three continents Thomas Lemon, Paul Middleton, Bill Byrnes, Loredana Guetg-Wyatt, Justin Trentini - much appreciated! Last but certainly not least, special thanks to the team that put up with me day to day and to our clients that we have partnered with over the years.”
Belton Flournoy III meanwhile works within Protiviti’s technology consulting arm. A former Marketing Analyst with Johnson Controls, he arrived with Protiviti in 2008, and has since built up extensive professional experience working with a variety of local, national and global organisations to enhance their business performance. Flournoy is particularly specialised in identity and access management, IT governance, and IT risk management.
Speaking on the appointment via LinkedIn, Flournoy commented, “I chose Protiviti, and over a decade later, I still feel I made the correct decision. Strong people, strong delivery, with a client-centric mindset to always 'exceed our client's expectations.' Today, I am happy to share that I’ve been promoted to Managing Director at Protiviti UK!”
