Simon-Kucher rebrand emphasises unlocking growth for clients
Simon-Kucher & Partners has unveiled a new corporate brand identity, as it celebrates rapid revenue growth over the last year. The consultancy reported a revenue expansion of 21% in 2022, and hopes its branding refresh will help build on this by reflecting its evolving offerings.
Founded in 1985, Simon-Kucher & Partners is a global consultancy which provides strategy and marketing consulting services to its clients. Over the course of 2022, the firm rolled out a number of new capabilities to enhance that offering further – including the launch of a European Transaction Services team and a dedicated transaction services team in the UK, focusing on carrying out commercial due diligence on transactions for private equity and corporate clients.
Simon-Kucher also grew its physical presence with the announcement of offices in three new countries, bringing the total count to 45 offices in 30 countries worldwide. The company’s newest offices are located in Seoul, South Korea; Johannesburg, South Africa; and opening soon in Mumbai, India – each emerging growth markets for the firm. Meanwhile, 35 new partners were appointed across 16 countries, bringing Simon-Kucher’s total to 190 partners worldwide – while the company has also increased its headcount by 90% in the last five years, to hit 2,000 employees.
This activity all contributed to huge revenue growth for Simon-Kuchers over the last 12 months. Simon-Kucher has announced its 2022 annual revenue hit £475.7 million, rising by 21% from the previous year. The firm is not content to rest on its laurels now, though, and has announced that further change is necessary to build on its current momentum.
“As we move forward with a clear objective of helping our clients achieve a better kind of growth, it’s critical that we also practice what we preach,” said Andreas von der Gathen, co-CEO of Simon-Kucher. “Throughout our journey, we’ve never failed to hold ourselves to our own growth ambitions as a firm. As we’ve done every year since 1985, we spent the past year investing in top talent, building our presence in key markets across the globe, and developing a dynamic and accessible leadership team. We have expanded our offer to include world-class digital consulting, transactions services and software teams.”
As Simon-Kucher looks to showcase this dynamism, it has overhauled its corporate branding. As well as a refreshed logo, the firm’s its brand identity now also features a new tagline: “Unlocking better growth”. According to a release from the firm, this represents how Simon-Kucher achieves better, higher-quality growth for its clients, increasing sales and long-term, sustainable profit.
“The next chapter of our story is based on a very clear insight into something that is at the core of everything we do and something every company is challenged with globally: growth,” added fellow co-CEO Mark Billige. “To put it simply, our vision is to be known as the world’s leading growth specialist.”
