Josep Alvarez-Perez named Head of Bip xTech UK

Bip UK has announced the appointment of Josep Alvarez-Perez as Partner and Head of Bip xTech in the UK. He will now lead the firm’s technology centre, supporting clients to realise data-driven transformations.

With over 4,500 people globally, Bip is one of the fastest growing consultancies in the world. Bip xTech is the firm’s Technology Centre of Excellence, helping with organisational transformations with strategy services, implementation, and integration; leveraging data, analytics, AI, hybrid and multi cloud, IoT, Blockchain and RPA.

Bip UK is the British subsidiary of Bip Group – having rebranded from its former name of Chaucer in November 2022 – and subsequently hosts its own Bip xTech wing. With clients increasingly turning to technology and digitalisation to help hedge against the current economic slowdown, Bip xTech UK is positioned for keen demand in the months ahead.

Helping it meet this demand will be new leader Josep Alvarez-Perez. Joining as a Partner and Head of Bip xTech in the UK, he will aim to continue the company’s rapid growth as a leader in digital transformation consulting.

Speaking on his new challenge, Alvarez-Perez noted, “There is a huge opportunity for Bip UK to drive revenue growth and meet its strategic goals over the next three to five years. Alvarez-Perez brings over 20 years of experience in the technology sector to Bip UK. Most recently he served as EMEA Head for Enterprise Cloud Solutions in NTT Data, during which time he helped deliver complex technology consulting projects for large enterprises across Europe. He has also held key roles in prominent vertical sectors such as energy and financial services.
