Duo Consulting builds Finland link to support companies entering the UK

Professional services firm Duo Consulting has joined the British and Commonwealth Chamber of Commerce in Finland. Joining as expert members, the firm will support Finnish businesses looking to enter the UK market.

Established in 2008, the British and Commonwealth Chamber of Commerce in Finland (B3CF) works to build business ties between Finland the UK, and the Commonwealth. Duo Consulting’s move to support the entity is an extension of long-standing ties to the two countries.

For example, Duo’s Associate Director, Will Stone, was formerly Head of Communications UK & Ireland for UPM, a €9.8 billion Finnish forestry industry company with operations in renewable and recyclable products, including biofuels, biochemicals and paper making. He also worked with Finnish-based businesses as a consultant, including a wireless charging start-up. This kind of personal knowhow is what Duo’s leadership believes will help other businesses move between the two economies.

The work will also build on work Duo has done with companies in Australia, Germany, and the US, when it comes to profile-raising as part of their UK and European business growth plans. With a senior consultative approach, Duo helps clients’ executive and comms leaders understand their target audiences and stakeholders, tailor their story and messaging for the market, and build profiles across key media and other channels.
