Interpath makes David Mitchell Managing Director in valuations wing
Interpath Advisory has announced the appointment of David Mitchell as Managing Director in its valuations practice.According to the firm’s Head of Advisory, his expertise and reputation across the market are “truly first rate.”
Mark Raddan continued, “David’s arrival comes at a pivotal moment in time, with the gathering economic headwinds prompting more and more organisations to seek a clear and robust understanding of the value of their businesses and assets.”
Mitchell is a valuation expert in the UK and multiple international jurisidictions including Dubai, Jersey, Singapore, British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands. With more than two decades of experience in the valuation industry, in both contentious and non-contentious matters, Mitchell also has expertise in the specialised area of tax and restructuring valuations and has led numerous valuations across a number of different sectors.
Prior to arriving at Interpath Advisory, Mitchell was previously Head of the UK Valuations team at BDO, where he spent 21 years of his career. He is also a member of the Economics and Finance Advisory Board at Brunel University and regularly presents to the Economic Lectures and Economic and Finance students on valuations in practice.

The new Partner joins Interpath’s fast-growing valuations team, where he will work alongside fellow Managing Director, Steve Taylor. The team works closely with clients from a wide range of sectors on a range of complex litigation, accounting and technical matters, as well as advising on transactions and deal-related valuations, including public fairness opinions on stock exchange transactions and the valuation of deal synergies.
Interpath is a financial advisory business with a broad range of specialisms that was formed in a bid to allow its professionals to operate in “an agile, independent and conflict-free setting”, according to the firm’s website. It grew out of a management buyout of KPMG’s restructuring wing, just under two years ago.
