Sam Hollister named Head of Markets and Engagement at Lane Clark & Peacock
Sam Hollister has arrived as Head of Markets and Engagement at Lane Clark & Peacock. Joining from energy provider OVO, he will work with clients to provide insights on how energy market changes will impact them.
Over the course of his career, Hollister has built a wealth of experience in energy policy and regulatory knowledge. This has seen him recognised for his expertise, and even holding positions on the Government’s Electric Vehicle Energy Taskforce and Heat and Building Strategy advisory group.
Previously he spent seven years at Energy UK. During this spell, he was a Director of Economics and Corporate Services, and became part of the senior leadership team, where he led on the organisation’s internal and external response to the Covid pandemic. Meanwhile, most recently he rose to the rank of Head of Policy and Public Affairs at energy supplier OVO. Heading up the firm’s public affairs capacity, he worked to help steer the organisation through the UK’s mounting energy crisis.
