Gambit promotes Mike Dunn, Harrie Thorrington and Koo Aseeley
Hot on the heels of the best year in its 30-year history, Gambit Corporate Finance has promoted three company members to the next level.
Mike Dunn and Koo Aseeley have both been promoted to Manager, while Harrie Thorrington has made the step up to the Executive rank.
“Their promotion is a testament to their impressive performance and the value they add to the firm’s clients, in terms of creating, maximising and ultimately realising shareholder value,” said Geraint Rowe, a Partner at Gambit Corporate Finance.
Mike graduated in Business Management from Cardiff University and joined Gambit in 2019 after three years working in the London Insurance market, specialising in international trade finance.
Since joining the firm, he has been involved in a number of disposal, buyside, private equity and debt fundraising assignments.
Koo is a graduate in Accounting and Finance from Cardiff University. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with a Big Four firm (PwC) in London prior to specialising in corporate finance at Menzies Corporate Financ. He joined Gambit Corporate Finance in 2020.
He specialises in origination and lead advisory on mid-cap M&A and fundraising mandates, and has been involved in a range of corporate finance services including fundraising, disposals, acquisitions and MBO’s.
Harrie joined Gambit Corporate Finance in August 2021, after studying Economics at the University of Bath and undertaking a Finance Analyst position at Deloitte.
He has supported numerous debt fundraising and disposals transactions across a variety of sectors, and conducts detailed analysis and research related to deal engagements.
“With the current buoyancy of the M&A market and the momentum of the firm, we remain very optimistic for another record-breaking year,” said Rowe.
