Azariah Nukajam joins GRC consultancy fscom as associate director
GRC specialist consultancy fscom has strengthened its senior team with Azariah Nukajam, who joins the firm from Kroll.
Appointed an Associate Director in the Investments practice, Nukajam will work with fscom’s clients across the investment landscape – fund and wealth managers and investment advisory groups – on governance, risk and compliance topics.
Nukajam brings extensive experience in regulatory compliance consulting across the United Kingdom and Ireland, including working closely with both the FCA and CBI.
Prior to joining fscom, Nukajam served as Vice President in Kroll’s GRC practice, and prior to this, as Senior Associate at Duff & Phelps (which rebranded as Kroll early 2021). Earlier, she worked as a Compliance Consultant at Bates Wells Braithwaite and held a compliance role at a mid-market private equity firm, among others.
Her track record includes helping institutions comply with regulations including MiFID II, AIFMD, UCITS, and CONC. She has undertaken authorisation, audit, investment advisory, perimeter guidance as well as global regulatory due diligence projects, and has significant experience in regulator commissioned reviews such as s166 Skilled Person Reviews.
“Azariah brings a wealth of experience and subject matter knowledge to our team of deep domain experts and she will be an invaluable asset to our clients at a time of evolving regulatory requirements and increasing regulatory supervision and enforcement. I look forward to working with her as we take the investments practice of our business to the next level,” said Jamie Cooke, Managing Director of fscom.
Founded in 2011, fscom is an award-winning specialist consulting firm providing governance, risk and compliance solutions to financial services institutions. The firm has particular expertise in the domains of e-money, crypto, retail banking, asset management and trading / broking.
“I am thrilled to join fscom at a pivotal time in their development and I welcome the opportunity to work with their portfolio of financial services institutions and support the continued expansion of the investments team,” said Nukajam on her new challenge.
