Professional services firm Interpath Advisory is celebrating its first year as an independent business with the opening of its new headquarters. The London base will enable the company to push for further expansion in the coming months.

Having established itself as an independent firm in 2021, Interpath Advisory has established multiple offices across the UK. Since its management buyout, backed by H.I.G. Capital, the former restructuring practice of KPMG has launched locales in Edinburgh, Leeds, Birmingham, Glasgow, Nottingham, Reading, Newcastle, Bristol and Aberdeen.

At the start of 2022, Interpath also let the premises for a new UK headquarters. Now, as the firm celebrates its first anniversary of independence, the company has opened the doors of 10 Fleet Place for business.

The 13,913 square-foot space sees Interpath become neighbours with a number of other blue-chip tenants including engineering consultancy Mott MacDonald, and CNBC, which was recently acquired by Comcast and Verizon Group.

Blair Nimmo, Chief Executive Officer of Interpath, said of the milestone, “The past 12 months have seen us go on an incredible journey, from starting life as an independent business, to opening offices across the length and breadth of the country, recruiting some brilliantly-talented people and expanding into new advisory offerings. It therefore feels rather apt that we are able to round off an amazing year by opening the doors to our new headquarters.”

Interpath now employs around 530 people across the UK, including 57 Managing Directors. While it was initially born out of KPMG’s UK restructuring wing, the company has also expanded into new service offerings, including forensic, valuations, M&A and transaction services in the year following its launch. Supporting these broadening capabilities was key criteria when it came to selecting a national HQ.

Nimmo explained, “When searching for our new base, it was paramount that we were able to find somewhere which could provide a sustainable, state-of-the-art, flexible working environment, right in the heart of the City, where our people can flourish, and which helps us to deliver the very best client service.”

“We’re really proud of the innovative way in which we’ve designed the space. It looks fantastic, and we look forward to expanding our business further in the months and years ahead from our new home.”
