FRP names seven directors among UK promotions
FRP has promoted seven new directors in its UK wing. Laura Dymott, Bhuvnesh Majupuria, Graham Smith, David Bonner, Richard Boyden and Daniel Brecker ascend to the rank amid a period of rapid growth for the firm’s headcount.
Specialist advisory firm FRP currently employs 520 people across its network of 26 offices in England and Scotland, including 80 partners nationwide. A string of new office openings has seen it quickly ramp up that headcount in the last year, with new locations including Sunderland, Southampton, Cambridge, Glasgow and Milton Keynes. The firm also recently acquired Bridgeshield Asset Management in Leigh-on-Sea.
All of this has seen FRP’s headcount rise by 15% in a significant period of expansion. As a result, the firm is in turn expanding its director capacity – with a spate of new appointments. Seven new directors across the country reflect not only the firm’s commitment to building its headcount, but also to invest in the growth of its people.
Commenting on the promotions, Jeremy French, COO at FRP, said, “We pride ourselves on our commitment to developing the very best talent to serve our clients. This latest round of promotions reflects the continuing hard work, dedication and development of our team.”
David Bonner becomes a Director in FRP’s restructuring advisory team in Manchester. Bonner joined FRP in 2019, having previously spent a decade with KPMG.
Daniel Brecker has also become a Manchester based Director, this time within FRP Corporate Finance. He arrived at FRP in 2021, bringing a decade of corporate finance experience with him from roles at Grant Thornton and EY.
Laura Dymott has been promoted to Director in FRP’s London-based forensic services team. The appointment rewards her for leading the firm’s specialist investigation team on several high-profile liquidations in the past year.
Richard Boyden ascends to Director in FRP’s Corporate Finance team in Reading. Boyden is a former Corporate Finance Manager with BDO, and also spent six years with Spectrum Corporate Finance, before joining FRP in 2021.
CJ Watson has become a Director in FRP’s Brentwood IT Advisory team. Watson joined FRP in 2011, and spent the last three years as a Senior Manager of IT Advisory.
Graham Smith additionally has been named a Director in restructuring advisory, this time in Aberdeen. Smith has been with FRP for eight years, since arriving from RSM Tenon, where he was a Manager in Corporate Recovery.
Bhuvnesh Majupuria takes on the same role in Teesside. Majupuria has more than 12 years of experience within the corporate recovery market, and was previously a Manager at BWC Business Solutions.
In addition to these director promotions, across FRP’s restructuring advisory, corporate finance and forensic services pillars, there have been a number of further appointments across its UK operations. The firm has promoted a further 59 people across a wide range of seniority and specialist roles from office managers to associate directors.
French added, “We know how important it is to reward and retain highly skilled professionals, and on a daily basis, we see that highly engaged colleagues deliver excellent client service and results, which, in turn, strengthens our reputation in the market. We wish all our newly promoted colleagues continued success in their new roles.”
