BDO appoints two partners to leadership team

Audit and advisory firm BDO has appointed Anna Draper and Kaley Crossthwaite to its leadership team. The duo join the firm’s partnership to as it looks to enhance its client offering and risk management.

Paul Eagland, Managing Partner of BDO, commented on the appointments, “Our commitment to high quality and the development of our talent continue to be priority areas for the leadership team. Anna and Kaley have already proven their leadership capabilities, both successfully leading large teams as well as continuing to advise and support clients within their respective areas of the business.”

Anna Draper began working for BDO in 2007. An Audit Partner since being promoted to the rank in 2012, she became a Regional Lead Partner in 2019 – overseeing BDO’s South East offices consisting of almost 400 people. She began working for BDO in 2007. In BDO’s leadership team, she will now focus on partner development and engagement, helping to plan the pipeline of future partners within the firm.

Kaley Crossthwaite and Anna Draper - BDO

Kaley Crossthwaite meanwhile has been with BDO for more than two decades. She was promoted to Partner in 2008, and has spent the last three years as head of BDO’s Forensic and Valuation Services (FAVS), leading a national team of almost 200. Crossthwaite takes on her new leadership role in order to strengthen BDO’s continued focus on quality and risk management.

The two appointments come as Wendy Walton and Jon Randall retire from BDO. Randall joined in 2019, when BDO merged with Moore Stephens. Walton meanwhile joined BDO’s leadership team when Paul Eagland took on the role of Managing Partner in 2016, with responsibility for partner engagement and development.

Eagland added, “I am incredibly pleased to announce our new leadership team members. I have confidence that Anna and Kaley will help us succeed in these areas to benefit both our people and our clients. I will also take the opportunity to thank both Wendy and Jon for their invaluable contributions to BDO in their time with the firm.”
