PA Consulting names Tracey Countryman Head of Markets
As PA Consulting seeks to innovate its client experience, it has appointed a new Head of Markets. Tracey Countryman brings more than two decades of experience to the role.
An innovation and transformation advisory firm, PA Consulting’s 3,300 staff are strategists, innovators, designers, consultants, digital experts, scientists, engineers and technologists. The company operates globally from offices across the UK, the US, the Netherlands and Nordics.
Following the rush for digitalisation prompted by the pandemic, PA is growing at pace. As it looks to build on this momentum, boosting the experiences of its clients will help amplify and accelerate the expansion of PA’s sector teams. Taking charge of this effort is Tracey Countryman, who joins PA as its Head of Markets.
Ken Toombs, CEO of PA, commented, “I am pleased to welcome Tracey in this important role. This new position supports PA’s ambitious growth plans, as we continue to address the biggest challenges and opportunities that our clients face. I am confident Tracey, as an experienced senior leader, will make a huge impact on PA.”
Countryman’s CV boasts more than 23 years of experience in operational transformation, driving growth for clients across a range of different industries, including consumer goods, industrial, life sciences and chemicals.
Most recently she worked for Accenture, where latterly she led its global engineering and manufacturing business. This included strategy, consulting and technology disciplines, which saw strong double-digit growth during each of the last three years – and in the role, Countryman supported clients with their digital transformations from early-stage ideation and strategic planning to full scale global execution.
Speaking on joining PA, Tracey added, “I’m looking forward to getting involved in solving complex strategic issues for our clients in an innovative and transformative way. PA is evolving at great pace and in a direction that is full of opportunity – I’m ready to take these opportunities forward, particularly in the areas of digital and technology.”
