Marcus Beard and Michael Eiden partners at Arthur D. Little
Global management consulting firm Arthur D. Little has promoted Marcus Beard and Michael Eiden to partner in the United Kingdom.
Marcus Beard has been with Arthur D. Little for close to three decades, and now joins the firm’s partnership. Based in the Cambridge office, Beard specialises in risk management, primarily focusing on developing next-generation risk management approaches, culture assessment, safety and risk governance and assurance, and risk analysis.
Throughout his career, he has worked internationally, including across Europe, Asia, Africa and North America.
Beard focuses mainly on clients in the rail and metro industries, but has also worked in road transport, oil and gas, energy, and construction. His clients span all business sizes, from multinationals and national players to start-ups.
He also has served as an expert witness to court in a number of high-profile legal proceedings and is a highly experienced trainer, having delivered many learning programs to senior managers.
Michael Eiden is a partner in the Technology & Innovation practice, and the Global Head of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. He is an industry expert with more than twenty years of experience in designing, developing, and commercialising AI solutions in different industries.
Having joined the consulting firm in 2018, Eiden has built and leads ADL’s data science team, which designs and delivers artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions addressing complex problems in a variety of different industries.
Earlier in his career, Eiden was the Chief Information Officer of Specific Diagnostics in Silicon Valley, and spent over a decade in data science roles at companies in the UK and Germany.
