Ashfield Advisory acquires Research Partnership

Global healthcare portfolio company Ashfield has purchased Research Partnership for an undisclosed fee. Research Partnership is a global healthcare market research and insights company, and will now become part of Ashfield’s advisory and consulting division, Ashfield Advisory.

Worldwide, Ashfield is an integrated healthcare services partner, offering a breadth of services across strategic consulting, benchmarking, commercialisation, customer engagement, events, marketing and communications. The firm has curated its business through the acquisition of 22 companies, and has a presence in 50 countries, with over 7,000 employees servicing more than 300 clients.

Among the organisation’s business lines, Ashfield Advisory is its global healthcare advisory wing, focusing on empowering better decision-making and enabling transformative change across the healthcare industry. The company partners with companies across the product lifecycle to accelerate business performance through strategic insight and guidance, delivered by the industry’s leading experts.

Ashfield Advisory acquires Research Partnership

With the acquisition of Research Partnership, the firm has strengthened and complemented the existing Ashfield Advisory offering. With Research Partnership forming a new specialist pillar within the business, Ashfield Advisory will be able to reach into new market niches, while adding capacity in Asia and an increased footprint in Europe.

The acquisition brings opportunities to both current and future clients of Research Partnership, as the firm will be able to offer the same service, with the added value of being connected to the wider Ashfield offering, for when clients need additional support. Meanwhile, it will also benefit from the financial backing that comes with becoming part of Ashfield – which is a portfolio company of investment firm Clayton Dubilier & Rice.
