Gary Comerford and Werner Luüs join Expert Services arm of Kroll

Global management consultancy Kroll has expanded its Expert Services practice with Gary Comerford and Werner Luüs.

Appointed a Senior Director, based in Dublin, Gary Comerford brings over 30 years of cost and commercial management experience in the construction industry to the firm.

Comerford serves clients in the private and public sector with a particular emphasis on healthcare, which includes supporting specialist experts and legal advisors on complex claims and disputes.

Comerford’s track record includes leading the delivery of complex health care projects in Ireland and the UK and consulting on contracts procured using a range of procurement options, including traditional, design and build, turnkey and public private partnerships. 

He has extensive experience of the Irish Public Works suite of contracts, which includes the New Children’s Hospital and National Maternity Hospital projects. Comerford has also supported experts on delay, disruption and quantum matters and the development of expert analysis in dispute resolution.

Prior to joining Kroll, Comerford was Director Healthcare at global cost and project management consultancy Linesight, leading the specialist healthcare division within the organisation. 

Appointed a Director, based in London, Werner Luüs has over 17 years of experience in both the UK and international markets. A Chartered Quantity Surveyor and Quantum Expert, his experience spans airport, healthcare, nuclear, rail, offshore energy, oil and gas, and shipbuilding sectors. 

Luüs has prepared expert reports on quantum matters in dispute and has worked as lead assistant on complex and high value disputes in international arbitration, serving proceedings with expert analysis, report drafting and hearing assistance. His notable engagements include working as lead assistant to quantum and delay experts for LCIA and AIAC international arbitrations in the subsea and offshore energy sectors. 

Prior to joining Kroll, Luüs served as Director of his own business providing quantum and delay expert services and prior to this he served as Associate Director at HKA providing quantum expert services.
