Debbie Clarke has joined JPES Partners as a Consultant. Speaking of the arrival, Julian Samways said she “brings a combination of experience and practical insight” to benefit the firm’s clients.

“[She is one of the most senior and influential individuals working in the asset management sector,” the JPES Partners founder and Managing Director continued. “Her appointment will provide an invaluable additional perspective to our consultancy services and reflects the key role that marketing communications has to play if investment businesses are to be successful, particularly in a post-Covid era.”

Clarke spent 15 years Mercer, during which she led the global investment research team. In 2019, she was one of four people named to share the role of global CIO within the consultant’s wealth business following the departure Andrew Kirton. She left in mid-2021.

Commenting on her new role, Clarke said, “I very much look forward to working with JPES Partners and its clients, helping asset managers articulate their investment proposition to the benefit of their underlying clients and overall business development activities.”
