Menzies makes record number of partner promotions
Professional services firm Menzies has announced a record number of partner promotions, as it kicks off a new year. Amid plans to accelerate its strategic growth plan, the firm has elevated six staff to its partnership.
Sam Goodsell is a member of the firm’s Advisory team and has gained considerable experience supporting fast-growth technology businesses. He first joined Menzies in 2006.
Janice Matthews is heading up the firm’s Charities and Not-for-Profit team. Having arrived in 2002, she was most recently an Audit Director with a focus on non-profit clients.
Sophie Said also an audit and assurance partner, has specific experience in advising small and medium-sized businesses in the transport & logistics sector. She has been at Menzies since 2004, having started her career there as an Audit and Accounts Trainee.
The trio is based in the firm’s Heathrow office. Meanwhile, three more promotions have occurred in Menzies’ London, Woking and Leatherhead locales, something a release from Menzies said helped enrich “the depth and breadth of skills and technical experience available to the firm’s clients, across a range of industry sectors.”
Sarah Hallam is based in London, and is an audit and assurance partner with specialist knowledge of the retail and financial services sectors. She joined the firm in 2012, and is also head of the firm’s retail and wholesale sector group.
Oliver Finch meanwhile heads up the firm’s outsourcing and systems advisory team. Based at the firm’s Woking office, he works closely with businesses to support them in developing systems and reports to facilitate senior-level decision making.
Anthony Lalsing finally is a new tax partner, based at the firm’s Leatherhead office. He specialises in advising businesses on how to make the most of available R&D tax reliefs and allowances.
Simon Massey, Managing Partner at Menzies, remarked, “We are proud to be making a record number of partner promotions this year to turbo-charge our strategic growth plan and drive the business forward. It is noteworthy that all the new partners have had continuous service at Menzies since the start of their careers and each of them has excelled and grown with the business. I look forward to seeing their careers develop further, bringing them and the firm continued success in years to come.”
