International management consultancy Elixirr has strengthened its UK partner team with the addition of Oliver Bishop, Sam Parker and Sofia Lencastre.

Oliver Bishop and Sam Parker have both been with Elixirr since 2012, and have moved through the ranks to now join the partnership of the UK-headquartered consulting firm

“We strongly believe that in order to continue along our growth trajectory, we must promote from within, and so we are very happy to welcome Oliver and Sam into the partner team. We’re confident that they will be a huge success in their role,” said Stephen Newton, the Chief Executive Officer of Elixirr.

During his career at Elixirr, Bishop has developed expertise in both consulting and mergers & acquisitions, having spent his first eight years in the consulting team, and more recently leading the firm’s acquisitions team. He has worked globally across a range of client projects, helping businesses grow and execute on large-scale change programmes, and has also led Elixirr’s most recent acquisitions.

“As a partner, Oliver will continue to play an integral role in driving the inorganic side of our growth strategy, as we continue our journey to becoming a services unicorn,” explained Newton.

“I’m humbled to join such an esteemed group of individuals, who have supported and coached me through this journey, and who I’ll continue to work alongside to drive our growth," commented Bishop.

Parker brings over 18 years of experience shaping and delivering complex transformational change to the partner team (prior to Elixirr, he worked at Capita and later Serco). At Elixirr, he specialises in shaping, sourcing, and managing significant strategic change programmes. He has worked in a variety of sectors including financial services, telecom, media, technology, retail, healthcare and government.

Newton added, “As a partner, Sam will continue to lead and develop our strategic sourcing and transformation offerings as well as help our clients innovate their technology services.”

Speaking on his promotion, Parker said, “It’s such an exciting time for our business and I’m hugely excited to help drive our next stages of growth as we continue our journey to becoming the best consulting firm in the world.”

Sofia Lencastre meanwhile joined Elixirr at the start of this month. She arrived from Big Four firm EY, bringing over 16 years of experience in consulting in the financial services industry to Elixirr. She has a deep understanding of corporate, investment and retail banking, and expertise leading EU, UK and US risk, finance and regulatory initiatives.

Lencastre said of her new challenge, “I’m thrilled to join a firm with such a challenger mindset – Elixirr really stands out in the consulting market, and I could see the dynamism and quality very quickly from my initial interactions with the team. I can’t wait to make my mark in this exciting stage of Elixirr’s growth.”

Most recently, Lencastre led EY’s risk and regulatory transformation offering to financial institutions. Prior to that, she also held positions at Deloitte and Accenture.

Newton noted, “Sofia brings the tenacity and drive that I have seen in all successful Elixirr partners to date, and that, coupled with her knowledge and experience in the financial services industry, make her an incredibly exciting appointment for the firm.”
