Accenture acquires innovation strategy consultancy Founders Intelligence
Global consultancy Accenture has acquired Founders Intelligence, a UK innovation strategy consulting firm. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, but the company’s team of 35 joins Accenture’s growing innovation practice.
Founded in 2013, Founders Intelligence’s team of former start-up founders and strategy experts combine their entrepreneurial experience and commercial expertise with deep relationships with the technology start-up ecosystem. Leveraging this combination, the London headquartered firm provides strategies and delivering growth for FTSE 100 companies and other global organisations.
As the pandemic continues to see companies embrace new technologies to drive growth, Accenture’s innovation wing is enjoying heightened demand.The acquisition of Founders Intelligence and its 35 experts strengthens Accenture’s capabilities to help senior executives create and scale new business models and achieve sustainable value from innovation.

The move also enables Founders Intelligence to grow its reach as part of a global business. CEO and Co-founder Rob Chapman added that combining the firm’s approach with Accenture’s international innovation ecosystem and delivery capabilities presents “enormous opportunities.”

Founders Intelligence is the latest acquisition Accenture has made to help clients harness innovation in Europe. Recently, this saw Accenture also acquire experimentation-led innovation firm ?WhatIf!, and digital ventures consultancy, Bow & Arrow, both also based in London.
