Big Four firm EY is offering a new, fully accredited Masters in Business Analytics, which is freely available to all employees. The news is the latest development in a continuing relationship between the professional services giant and the Hult International Business School.

Speaking on the new programme, Mukul Kumar, Hult Chief Innovation Officer, said, “The EY Masters in Business Analytics by Hult is a big step forward as we help the EY organisation retain and upskill a talented workforce with the data and artificial intelligence skills needed to solve tomorrow’s business challenges. Helping learners to acquire relevant knowledge, practice skills and integrate ideas into the workplace to solve big business problems is at the core of Hult’s mission to be the world’s most relevant business school, and we are excited to be collaborating with EY teams on this leading-edge program.”

Developed in association with Hult International Business School, EY’s new Masters aims to boost EY people’s understanding of AI, helping them to navigate new, technology focused ways of working. The programme is the latest example of how EY is working to reskill its workforce, as the working environment continues to rapidly digitalise following the pandemic.

Trent Henry, EY Global Vice Chair for Talent, commented, “Technology is changing everything – from how we work and create value to how we live and interact as a society. The implications for business are huge and this new qualification will better help EY people to provide new services for clients by harnessing the very latest technologies to address a huge variety of challenges, from tackling cybercrime to combatting climate change. This innovative program is just one of the ways that EY people are being supported to rise to global challenges by helping them develop the right skills and design the careers they want in a way that truly works for them.”

The new EY Masters in Business Analytics by Hult is being launched alongside a new campaign to bring even more tech talent into EY, focused around a live two-day EY Tech Careers virtual event where prospective recruits can meet EY technologists and senior leaders to discover more about what a career in technology at the EY organization can offer. The EY organisation already exceeds 44,000 technologists and 22,000 data professionals across the global organisation.

Last summer, EY also launched a new virtual corporate MBA, in association with Hult, which is available to all 284,000 EY people in more than 150 countries, free of charge and irrespective of prior qualifications or location. The programme is focused on helping EY people develop the mindset and skillset to navigate new ways of working, with all learning delivered entirely online – with its first graduates having been announced earlier in 2021.
