Peter Leech and Deniz Patel join LPA senior team

Capital market technology and advisory LPA has grown its UK office with two new hires. Peter Leech arrives as Partner and Head of UK Consulting, while Deniz Patel joins as Director, Head of UK Consulting and Software Sales.

As a provider of software and consulting for over two decades, LPA helps financial services companies in their capital market activities with; digital transformation, increasing efficiency, competitiveness and maintaining full compliance. With regulatory reporting challenges on the rise, along with pressure on banks and financial institutions to bring business models in sales and trading into the digital enabled era, the firm is experiencing keen demand at present.

LPA global coverage extends from its headquarters in Frankfurt, and 12 other international locations including Tel Aviv, London, Zürich, New York, Paris, Barcelona, Luxemburg and Singapore, employing over 400 technology and capital market experts. Based in London, Peter Leech and Deniz Patel will work alongside Mark Reeves to grow the British business across services and solutions, building on LPA’s strong client base in continental Europe.

Reeves, a Senior Advisor at LPA, commented, “The addition of Peter and Deniz strengthens our position in the UK, accelerating growth in this vital market.”

Leech brings more than three decades of experience in financial services consultancy to the role. His most recent position as Group Director and Managing Consultant at CubeMatch, a financial services consultancy, where he spent 16 years of his career. During this time Peter helped grow the company, organically and through acquisitions, establishing practices, new services and balanced teams as client needs evolved. Previously, he was also a Managing Consultant at TCA Consulting supporting its growth and flotation while delivering projects for multiple financial services clients.

Patel meanwhile has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry­. She most recently worked as a Sales Consultant for Arcadier Group, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) marketplace platform company, and Business Development Director at Calypso Technology, a leading provider of cloud-enabled, cross-asset, front-to-back solutions for financial markets. Prior to that, she worked as a Sales Manager at FIS, Program Manager at Barclays and Management Consultant at Deloitte.
