Richa Jha joins Anthesis as transformation head
Former Accenture executive Richa Jha has arrived at sustainability organisation Anthesis. Jha will take on the newly created role of Chief Transformation Officer, with CEO Stuart McLachlan saying the appointment would help clients meet organisational design challenges head on.
McLachlan added, “Transformational change in our client’s organisations is inevitable as they decarbonise and seek sustainable organisational models. But at Anthesis, we must also evolve and, as we scale, we must continue to be an organisation that deploys our expertise to deliver maximum impact. So, I am very excited to be bringing Richa’s experience in organisational design and transformation programmes to Anthesis at this time.”
Following the significant minority investment by Palatine Private Equity at the start of 2021, Jha is part of a cohort of strategic hires to support Anthesis’ new growth objectives, aimed at amplifying its impact in tackling the world's climate emergency. Reporting to McLachlan, this will see her take responsibility for collaborating with the firm’s Global Leadership Team on critical drivers, such as global connectivity and organisational design, digitalisation of services and unlocking human potential for change through education and impact led transformation programmes. In addition, with a continued focus on its successful buy-and-build strategy for growth, Jha will be responsible for acquisition integration programmes.
On joining Anthesis, Jha said, “I was on the lookout for organisations and leaders with a big vision and a transformative agenda. Anthesis and its Activator approach for delivering sustainable performance, and ambition to help clients eliminate 3Gt of CO2e on their transition to Net Zero, completely fits the bill. I am hugely excited about the impact we can create on one of the crucial challenges facing humanity.”
Jha arrives at Anthesis with a 15-year track record of shaping and driving transformations within Fortune 500 companies. Most recently, she held the position of Principle Director in strategy and consulting at Accenture, where she executed an innovation-led transformation for a multi-billion-dollar global business. Focusing on delivering high impact, digital technology led strategies and solutions to challenge mindsets and galvanise organisational change, this saw her work with clients across the energy, utilities, pharmaceuticals, publicand not-for-profit sectors.
