FRP Advisory has unveiled three senior promotions in its London and Leicester offices.

In Leicester, Harry Walker has become a partner. He has been with FRP Advisory since 2018, and has since played a key role in expanding the firm’s activity in the region. Earlier in his career, he worked eight years at Grant Thornton, focused on providing corporate finance services to mid-market and small businesses.

Walker specialises in mergers & acquisitions, with deal sizes ranging from £5 million to £125 million. Recent deals completed include FM Mattsson Mora Group’s acquisition of kitchen and bathroomware brand Aqualla Brassware, the sale of leading vaping manufacturer EOS Group to AQL International, and the acquisition of paneer-manufacturer Everest Dairies by the UK’s largest Asian food group, Vibrant Foods.

In FRP Advisory’s London office, David Hinrichsen has been appointed a director in the restructuring advisory practice. He works across a wide variety of subjects and industries, ranging from specialist insolvency law claims to general commercial matters and competition cases emanating from a range of corporate and personal insolvency matters. He previously worked six years for BDO.

Anthony Simmons has over 13 years of experience with corporate restructuring and business recovery services. His track record includes working on assignments including administrations, administrative receiverships, liquidations and company voluntary arrangements, across various industries. The newly appointed director has been with FRP Advisory since 2010.

“Their promotion recognises the substantial impact, hard work and dedication they have made to the firm. I’d like to congratulate Harry, David and Anthony on their individual achievements, and I look forward to working alongside them on the next phase of their career development at FRP,” said Jeremy French, chief operating officer at FRP.

On the back of a strong year, with headcount up by 29% compared to a year ago, FRP Advisory has promoted a total of 34 professionals across its UK wide network of 22 offices.

Growth was realised through organic growth, as well as inorganic growth through the acquisitions of Spectrum Corporate Finance, JDC Group and Abbott Fielding.
