Chris Brownlee joins Dow Schofield Watts from Big Four

Advisory firm Dow Schofield Watts has bolstered its transaction services team with the appointment of Chris Brownlee. The new Executive arrives from PwC, where he spent four years in the audit department.

Established in 2002, Dow Schofield Watts is an advisory firm of professionals drawn from diverse backgrounds in Big Four accountancy practices, investment banking and industry. It offers a broad range of services including corporate finance, financial due diligence, business recovery, management and strategy, VAT and tax advisory, forensic services and wealth management. The firm also offers equity finance through our investment arm, PHD Equity Partners.

As the firm looks to grow its offering to clients across the UK, Dow Schofield Watts has expanded its transaction services team in Leeds with the appointment of Chris Brownlee. Joining as Executive, he will be carrying out due diligence for companies and investors engaged in mergers, acquisitions and other corporate deals.

Brownlee joins from PwC, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. He spent four years in the Big Four’s audit department, working with clients including law firms, major construction companies and large US and European corporates. He was latterly a Senior Associate with the company.
