FRP adds partners in Glasgow: Michelle Elliot and Stuart Robb
FRP Advisory has added two partners to its team in Glasgow, Scotland.
Michelle Elliot brings more than 20 years of experience in insolvency management and financial advisory. She joins the firm from Leonard Curtis, where she was a Director in its Restructuring practice. earlier in her career, she spent over a decade at Big Four firm Deloitte, contributing to the firm’s corporate restructuring and distressed M&A offerings.
At FRP Advisory, Elliot will advise business owners, lenders, shareholders and other stakeholders (accountants, lawyers, etc) on all aspects of corporate restructuring, including independent business reviews, contingency planning, options review and contentious insolvency. She focuses on mid-sized businesses and owner-managed businesses across a wide range of sectors.
Stuart Robb meanwhile has more than 25 years of experience. He specialises in contentious insolvency and corporate restructuring, and has worked on formal insolvency appointments across a wide variety of sectors.
He similarly joins the privately-held consulting firm from Leonard Curtis, where he was a Director. Before that, he spent more than a decade at two Big Four giants – KPMG and Deloitte, working among others on the administrations of Fergusons Shipbuilders, Hawick Knitwear and Woolworths.
Robb advises businesses in distress and provides restructuring/insolvency support services across a wide variety of sectors including retail, real estate, manufacturing, construction, and leisure and hospitality.
Working together with the firm’s other practices, “we can provide the full suite of advisory services, including debt advisory, forensic services and corporate finance,” said Elliot and Robb.
