David Bell joins M&A advisory Hampleton Partners as Director
Hampleton Partners has announced the appointment of David Bell to the position of Director in the firm’s London office. He brings a diversity of skills to the firm, including corporate finance expertise, and legal qualifications.
As the firm looks to build its M&A capabilities, Hampleton has appointed David Bell as a Director. Having spent more than 20 years in the professional services sector, Bell has extensive experience providing investment banking advice to technology companies and entrepreneurs, including M&A, minority sale and fundraising transactions.
He joins to support Hampleton’s growing London team drawing on this experience, as well as the fact that as a qualified lawyer, he also bring extensive deal structuring and legal expertise, providing clients with extensive practical experience of successfully achieving their strategic ambition.

Throughout his career, Bell has advised and invested in a range of technology and tech-enabled companies in the UK and internationally. He has supported a broad range of established and nascent players in multiple tech sectors, including enterprise and industrial software, health and medical technology, deep tech (Cyber, IoT, AI), marketing technology and tech-enabled services.
Bell spent his early career as a practising lawyer at Linklaters in their Investment Management Group for fund raising, private equity fund structuring, cornerstone investor respresentation, private equity and hedge fund activities, before moving into corporate finance at Goldman Sachs and Evercore Partners. Most recently, he was a Director with legal firm Silverpeak, where he spent the last four years.
