Patrick Tooher joins Infinite Global as Director

Communications advisory firm Infinite Global has appointed Patrick Tooher as a Director in its London office. Tooher formerly spent five years as the head of media relations for KPMG in the UK.

Founded in 1994, Infinite Global is a communications firm providing PR, branding and content services, with offices in offices in London, New York, Chicago and San Francisco. Led by former media professionals and creative directors, the company aids professional services firms and other businesses to demonstrate their expertise to audiences and clients.

Patrick Tooher joins Infinite Global as Director

Over the course of a three-decade career in media and professional services, Tooher has held a number of senior corporate communications roles, both in-house and agency-side. Having initially fostered a 16-year career in business journalism – latterly as City Editor of the Mail on SundayTooher shifted to consulting in 2005, by joining Big Four firm KPMG. He spent the following five years as the professional services giant’s head of PR, before joining the Co-operative Bank during its banking and governance crisis.

He joins Infinite Global from WE Communications, after six years as a Director at Citypress. In his new role, he will divide his time between Infinite Global’s head office in London and his home city of Manchester, where he will have direct access to its flourishing financial services and fintech ecosystem, while also developing Infinite Global’s national and regional profile.

Tooher’s appointment follows Infinite Global being named PR Agency of the Year at the 2020 B2B Marketing Awards. On the back of significant growth in 2019, Infinite Global also spent last year performing strongly in a number of the world’s most prominent rankings and league tables for PR agencies. In the latest PR Week Top 150 rankings, for example, the firm rose 22 spots in the UK, to number 122.
